Some burdens don't look heavy to anyone else, in fact some can't be seen at all by others, but that doesn't make what you're carrying any less heavy.
Sometimes they're quiet, they're the thoughts that creep in at 3am while the world is sleeping. Sometimes its thoughts that creep in while sitting in the school pickup line trying to figure out who you are in this season. Sometimes its heartbreak sitting in a doctor's office trying to figure out why your body has failed you once again. Feeling your chest tighten when you can't figure out which way to turn and if you're hearing Gods voice or your own. When holding on feels safer than letting go because if you let go then everything may just fall apart. The comfort zone that is the box that you're stuck in feels safe but also suffocating. Because the what ifs are louder than the truths of God's word
But under the care of God's mighty hand, we release the need to know when, why, and how.
God's word reminds us peace doesn't start when we fix it all or have it all figured out... it starts when we surrender it all to Him. When we surrender and make room, we can begin to discern His voice and see His plan for our lives.
Matthew 11:28 reads "Come to me all you who are weary, and burdened and I will give you rest."
God has never asked us to carry the weight of tomorrow and what it may hold. He simply asks us to trust Him with it.
When I release what I cannot control, it is then that I finally make room for the rest that my soul desires, and what He desires to give me. "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety -Psalm 4:8
Hand Him your tangled mess, your anxiety, your questions and concerns, every weight that you aren't meant to carry-hand it over to ABBA. Father. and Then REST.
GOD BLESS YOU MY FRIENDS!
